This is a visual style I made for myself and thought to share.

The idea is for something minimalistic that works with whatever it's surroundings are (be it wallpapers or window-contents).

That's odd, but I can't help you.
Even if I were doing fixes (which I'm not unfortunately) your description is very vague.

The selected item in "Start->Programs" menu is displayed in white text on white background.
